My Travelling Show Layout
« on: July 14, 2018, 06:00:43 PM »
Here is a peek at part of my show layout. It is designed and built to be easily transportable. It all breaks down into 5 pieces right now, soon to be six. Wiring connections are made automatically when the units (modules) are clipped together. The track is mostly three rail Trix Super Track which for my purposes is the most versatile. It is code 124 nickel silver and can accommodate RP25, NEM and course scale (early) wheels. and 2 and three rail locos and rolling stock. I have since replaced the station with a much larger one.

This is how it all started in November 2011. Just a static display on a single 8 foot table. But I soon realised that I needed some moving trains.

More pictures will follow in future posts.
